We did not sponsor or compensate for this video in any form. In fact, we were only aware of its existence following its release. Al's Drum Hang took notice of our online presence, bought our product, took an in-depth look at our operation, and shared his thoughts. He spent a great deal of time doing his due diligence and putting this video together. Thanks for Becoming Immortal, Al!

From Al:

Hi! I’m Al, a 50-year-old working drummer based in central Washington state. I’ve been playing drums just over 35 years. In that time, I’ve played on dozens of recordings, hundreds of gigs, and thousands of hours. That means plenty of lessons learned. I started a YouTube channel in 2023 to share some of those lessons with you.

This is an #unsponsored review, #notanad - I got a few pairs of Scorpion Percussion drumsticks and put them through a week of playing. Do they live up to the hype? What's with all the options? How does the Venom Grip feel?

  • Just got my sticks and at first glance I could see the quality of the wood and finish. I have been through many other brands and I feel I found the brand I am going to stay with. Played today, they felt well balanced and sounded great. Showed them to another drummer, he said the same thing I did and will be ordering a pair.

  • I can’t say enough great things about this company. I’m trying to go through my other stick before I continue on with my scorpion brick. I’m staying with you guys!! Thank you so much for the great product and thank you for your sacrifices to serve our country!!!

  • I’ve played these sticks for the past 5 years. Love them. 16", acorn tip, Venom Grip AND Rehearsal sticks. I use 2B although I’m not looking for speed while playing but comfort. Fits my hands better. Even the Rehearsal stick aren’t much different considering the blemishes they may have. I’m in my church’s praise band so I mow through a set of sticks every 4 to 6 months ( sunday’s for about an hour AND a practice once a month )
